Diogo Santo arrives in Greece?
By: Peter Katsiris | August 19th, 2008It appears, all be it after a bizarre twist of events, Diogo Santo has finally arrived in Greece and is ready to begin his duty with Olympiacos. A long soap opera-like transfer saga has finally ended with Diogo joining the Greek Champions from Brazilian club Portuguesa.
Reports from several Greek radio stations and websites reported that the Brazilian was set to arrive in Greece at 16:45 Athens time. Ironically, his plane was delayed by about a half an hour.
With Olympiacos playing a friendly today, it can be expected that the Brazilian starlet could be in attendance for the match against Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal later tonight at the Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium.

Guys, Im from Brazil….greek family!
Just to inform the Olympiacos fans….Diogo is a football promise until now. He just played a half seanson in Brazilian Serie A; of course that the fans don’t want know, but don’t be surprise if Diogos start better, after 2 or 3 years.
He is a boy and has too much to develop.Regards
