Lua Lua wants a ‘Thrylos’ return?

A variety of Greek media outlets are reporting that Lomana Lua Lua could be headed back to Limani, only months after his disappointing departure. Since leaving Olympiacos, Lua Lua has been playing with Qatari club al-Arabi after securing a one-year contract in July.
It seems odd to think about a Lua Lua return — and to be honest I wouldn’t count on it — but it would sure be a thing of beauty when you consider the attacking options Olympiacos would have at their disposal. Already having Diogo and Darko Kovacevic leading the charge in attack, the addition of Lua Lua — and maybe Nery Alberto Castillo, but that is a different story — not to mention the presence of youngster Konstantinos Mitroglou; Olympiacos could go from a sleeping giant to an attacking force.
Of course the sources are not the most reliable, as many media sources begin to report several rumors around this time. However, there could be optimism for fans wanting to see Lua Lua return to the ‘Eruthroleuki’; after all, the Democratic Republic of Congo international stated many times that he never wanted to leave. But, the ejection he faced from Olympiacos — all thanks to poor management — could have changed his mind set.
If Olympiacos is not Lua Lua’s destination for a return to European football, surely a reunion with his brother Kazenga at NewCastle United could be in the cards for one of the world’s most athletic players.
