dont forget that he’s 35 years old and is asking for 2.5 million euros per season (AT LEAST) to think about moving. and olympiakos has already made an offer of 1.5 million and he hasn’t budged.
Hes too old. Once we buy him we’ll get rid of him in a year. They should get someone younger.

Bob — you are absolutely correct. Olympiacos supporters will have to control their excitement over the possible addition of Materazzi. There are plenty of other players out there. The worst case scenario could see Avraam Papadopoulos and Kyriakos Papadopoulos team up in the starting eleven.

and thats the worst case senario.
kyriakos and avraam is not a bad combination at all.dont forget to mention Nihat from Villareal is also a target and the goallie from Real Sociedad in Spain.

Juve, as in Juventus? I haven’t really heard any such news linking us to any Olympiakos players.

Yes, Juve = Juventus.
Alessio, it’s likely because all the headlines revolve around rumors linking Buffon or Giovinco with a move out of Turin
Seriously though, Juventus has been linked with pretty much our whole team this term, and reports — at least in Greece — have gone as far as mentioning reports Juventus scouts have made the trip to the Giorgos Karaiskakis Stadium to scout our players. Actually, in some cases, the club has also confirmed these visits by posting notices on their website.

yeah. pete got to this before i could… juve – juventus and they have had scouts at our games (probably to look at torosidis) and the greek media has gone crazy.
