Transfer Tracker

Olympiacos has been busy as usual in the transfer market. Below is a detailed look at the imports and exports completed by the club in preparation for the 2008/2009 season. With the transfer window still open, and the realization that many deals happen late in the summer, this transfer table is only a premature guide. Obviously the names listed have confirmed their arrival or departure from Piraeus, but there is still time for the club to add more names to the list. With that being said, keep this post in your bookmarks; it’s a great guide to all the acquisitions, released players, and rumors surrounding the Greek club.

Crespo or Cruz would be very good. Very, very good. The rest I am neutral about. As long as the asking price isn’t too much…

You are correct, but I think we will have to be careful who we transfer in. We obviously need somebody who scores (a lot), so a world Class striker is needed. However, it is up to the player to sign with us if they want to come. With that being said…a lot of big name players turn down Greece and pick the more popular leagues such as the EPL, la Liga, BUndesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1 etc.
