Michal Zewlakow has been deemed unavailable for three weeks, after team doctors subjected the Poland international to an MRI on Tuesday. Tests revealed Zewlakow had suffered moderately severe bruising of the left BMD stud, which will surely force Zewlakow out for a stretch of time crucial to Olympiacos’ season plans.
With Zewlakow out, the need for Olympiacos’ squad to stay healthy is ever so imminent. A tough string of matches begin this weekend, as successful results are important for both domestic and European success.
Zewlakow was joined by the likes of Kostas Mitroglou, Leonidas Panagopoulos, and Leonardo at the Renti Sports Center on Tuesday. The group of four players followed personal rehabilitation programs, as the latter three attempt to ready themselves for the crucial clash with PAOK on Sunday.
